The Mayor of Jerusalem visited Medinol – a pioneer of medical innovation in the Har Hotzvim High-Tech Park

The Mayor of Jerusalem, Moshe Lion, along with the city’s management, visited Medinol today, one of the world’s leading companies in the development and manufacture of stents – life-saving medical devices. The visit was hosted by Yoram Richter, CEO of Medinol, presented the company’s activities and its vision for the future. The tour was joined by Eyal Haimovsky, CEO of the Jerusalem Development Authority ( הרל”י ), Nissan Livline, Director of the Har Hotzvim Administration, as well as the city’s management and the company’s management.

Medinol, operating in the heart of the Har Hotzvim High-Tech Park, is a global leader in the field of medical devices, with over 400 registered patents and over 2 million stents implanted worldwide. During the visit, the Mayor toured the advanced production rooms, where precise robotic technologies are used. The CEO of Medinol presented the company’s activities, its contribution to the local economy, the challenges it faces, and its activities for the Jerusalem community.

During the visit, it was agreed to examine possibilities for municipal cooperation, including support for the company’s activities for the benefit of the local high-tech community, employment and education.
