Yesterday, the inauguration ceremony was held for the new development center of Rafael Advanced Defense Systems in the Har Hotzvim High-Tech Park in Jerusalem. The ceremony, held in symbolic proximity to Holocaust Remembrance Day, reminded us of the company’s importance in developing weapons that strengthen Israel’s resilience and security.

The ceremony was attended by Mayor of Jerusalem Moshe Lion, Chairman of Rafael Dr. Yuval Steinitz, CEO of Rafael Yoav Turgeman, and CEO of the Jerusalem Development Authority Eyal Haimovsky, who cut the ribbon. The center employs approximately 170 development personnel, with plans for significant expansion, and will host, among other things, Rafael’s subsidiaries, such as Accubit and Cialo. The ceremony highlighted the collaborations with academia that enable the recruitment of quality personnel and the promotion of innovation.
